There was a time in Puerto Rico when a lot of people thought that the Menudo members were all gay....lol (a rumor that former Menudo member Xavier Serbia actually has addressed in recent interviews-he himself thought the band members were gay before he was spotted by band director Edgardo Diaz and approached by band management about joining)

As it turns , those rumors were just that: rumors. Out of about 40 ex members, only 3 or 4 have come out as gay or bisexual, which is about the percentage or actually even lower than average of the worldwide population's homosexuality numbers (estimated at about 10 percent)

So, Ruben Gomez having not come out, he is probably not, as his friend above says.

100% NO! I am very close friend of his and he is NOT gay. Just because he was in Menudo so many years ago doesn't mean he is or was gay. There is not a fiber in his body that is!
