Why do people like people of other races better than their own race?
Not everyone prefers another race - many people are attracted to others who look similar. However, many people are attracted to differences - someone from another race is exotic and new compared to the "usual" people that they may see around them in their daily lives. Most people end up picking a partner based on personality instead of just looks - that's the only way to get a lasting relationship that makes both of you happy.

I think it's good to date out of your race , now don't get me wrong , there is noting wrong with loving your own race . But i feel that if you go out and explore a "different territory" so to speak , you'll learn many things about a person's culture and traditions . I'm black and i like white guys , there is nothing wrong with it . If that person makes you happy , then why should race or skin color matter ?

If you are still in your early to mid teens might just be a temporary phase that you are going through as sexual confusion is quite common in teenagers. If you are an adult however and you are attracted to your own sex that would be termed as being Gay, Homosexual or possibly Bisexual (if you are physically attracted to the opposit sex too). There isn't really much that you can do about it other than accept it. Many gay people lead a happy and fulfilling life so it doesn't necessarily need to be a negative thing to discover that you are gay.
