UM... depends on what you mean by boy friend.
At your age you should have lots of friends, boys and girls. Some of those friends are going to be more "special" than the others. When you say "boyfriend" if you just mean a special boy who is a special friend - no problem! Just don't make it too exclusive, you still have a lot to learn about boys. (Hint - they get even more frustrating when they become men so start now.)
You're also starting to grow up, so your hormones are going to start popping and you're going to start thinking grown up thoughts from time to time.. OK- SEX- I said it!
It's really a normal thing to start thinking about SEXnow, especially with the emphasis on SEX in pop culture. Just remember that SEX is an adult activity that comes with some really BIG responsibilities. You don't want to go there at your age, you're still trying to figure out what a teenager is, don't start faking adult.
Concentrate on the relationships, on becoming a real friend and figuring out which of your friends are for real. Then when you're ready for SEX you are less likely to get involved with a jerk.
I'd also do some hard core research about teenage physiology (what's going to happen to your body as you grow up) and psychology and how the hormones are going to affect your head. I found as a woman there were certain times of the month that I made consistently rotten decisions about men. Once I figured out that connection I started being more cautious at that time.
Know yourself, love yourself, and above all respect yourself and expect those you call "friend" to do the same.
Yes ... at age 11 you are way too young. Get through school first - worry about having boyfriends and girlfriends later on. You will have ample time for this when you are older.
11.... Well no not really. Go for it. Your age your not going to be having sex or anything. Also your hormones will be running wild!
