Is it safe to smoke cigarettes while taking lexapro?

While you're taking lexapro, please do not smoke cigarettes, it will effect your body even more than what cigarettes are doing. Whoever smokes cigarettes are not certified for this type of drug.

I personally feel the pill is not working when i smoke much...

I smoke a packet everyday and I think my dose should increase by 40%.

i currently take 80 mg so i think I should take 12.

you reduce the effects significantly by smokin much.

maybe it lessens the effects alittle but not much. im smoking a cig on it now. its okay. not much different

Both SSRIs and cannabis are widely used, and there is little evidence that people who use cannabis should normally not take SSRIs.
