Like my boyfriend don't like my ex's and I don't blame him I did have bad relationships with them and he rather me not talk to them or anything so I respect him and not talk to them it saves us from arguing LOL......
But another thing is your boyfriend may not want you to hang with them because he may be afraid you will develop feelings for him again and I wouldn't blame him.... That's why my boyfriend don't talk to his ex's either...
