Some couples usually talk about stuff like this, for some it's ok and for some it's not... For instance if your boyfriend tells you he rather you not to hang out with your ex, just ask him why. Like my boyfriend don't like my ex's and I don't blame him I did have bad relationships with them and he rather me not talk to them or anything so I respect him and not talk to them it saves us from arguing LOL......
But another thing is your boyfriend may not want you to hang with them because he may be afraid you will develop feelings for him again and I wouldn't blame him.... That's why my boyfriend don't talk to his ex's either...
