The placebo pill is taken so you have the habit of taking the Birth Control pill, even during your period. So your period should happen the week your placebo is taken. So if you are taking the pill and you have missed a pill and then doubled up or just missed the pill sometimes you can spot brown. Sometimes you can spot brown at the very end of your cycle. It could also be the birth control pill you are taking isn't the right one for you. Contact your physician if you are following the directions of the prescription and spotting mid cycle. i always skip placebo pills since they are only needed to remind you to the the pill at the same time every day. you get your period when you are supposed to start placebos. Brown spotting is a "period" and happens to me all the time.
Spotting between periods is a common side effect on IUDs in the first few months of use. This problem usually improves with time.
Probably not, but you may have unscheduled bleeding or spotting.
It takes the body about three months to regulate itself to the hormones of birth control pills. So if you are within the first three months, you are most likely going to experience wonky bleeding and spotting. However, after the three months are over, your withdrawal bleeds (because you do not have periods while on hormonal birth control- you have chemically induced withdrawal bleeds) should even out to the 4 day placebo pills in Yaz.
There is no danger in skipping periods by skipping the placebo pills in your birth control pack, but this may result in bleeding between periods. When you get to the end of this pack, think about taking a break by taking your placebo pills - but don't take a break for longer than seven days. Then start the new pack. Some women note that if they take a short break of 4-5 days when spotting starts, then restart the pill, the spotting is more controllable.
Some women have spotting just before taking the placebo pills in their birth control pack. If this symptom lasts beyond the first three cycles, or if it is bothersome to you, talk with your health care provider about changing brands.
A placebo effect
yes you will bleed or have spotting cause it happened to me
You've outlined a reasonable approach. If that works, you can try a five-day placebo interval next month, etc., and see what works for you.
placebo effects
there is no relationship. one is fake, one is the real deal. By me, placebos are controls and controls are not placebos....so this is alternate.
A placebo
Spotting and breakthrough bleeding is a side effect that may occur while beginning birth control. This side effect can last up to 3 months. However, if you do not receive your period during the placebo week, you may have become pregnant. Waiting at least 1-2 months to have unprotected sex while on birth control pills will be safer because by then, your body has adapted to the hormones in the pills.
