For those who are NOT trying to gain weight, there is clearly a problem in any case.
i am 20 weeks too!!! i have gained 10 pounds this is my second child i started off at 132lbs and now at 142lbs. i didn't gain any weight last pregnancy until i was 6 or 7 months but it comes quicker this time around. but what i am told at 20 weeks we should be up to about 15 lbs as far as i know.
it really depends on their age. If they are younger yes, but if they are older than 6, I would consult your physician.
