No, it's just illegal to grow it, possess it, or possess anything used to smoke it.
Not in all states. Marijuana Usage is illegal in America under federal law. But in some states using it is legalized only for its therapeutic uses. Legalized non-medical cannabis can also be worn in that states. Medical use of hemp has endorsed in17 of 50 US States and DC. California, Washington, Alaska, Oregon, Maine, Nevada, Colorado, Hawaii, Vermont, Michigan, Montana, Rhode Island, New Mexico, DC, New Jersey, Arizona, Delaware, Connecticut are the 17 States and DC that have legalized marijuana. So In these States to ship marijuana seed is legal.
Can you or is it legal to do so?Many worldwide distributors will ship discreetly to US,not so many since the Prince of Pot(Canadian Mark Embry I believe) was extradited from Canada and prosecuted and convicted and is currently serving a sentence for shipping marijauna seeds to the US.No it is not legal, even in a medical marijauna state, because federal law supersedes state law and even in states where medical marijauna is legal (which there are currently 16 states) it is still a federal crime to buy, sell, grow, posess or use marijauna or seeds in the US.
yes.
Currently (September 2016) marijuana is illegal under US federal law, and it doesn't seem likely that changes to that law are imminent. So, at least in the US, it is NOT legal. Federal law trumps state law. (Federal agencies may choose not to aggressively enforce the law, especially in states where marijuana has been decriminalized, but that's a separate issue.)
Every state in the US. 50.
In some states in the US this is illegal. In other states it is not or you must have in your possession a certain amount of them before it is illegal. Check with your state law to see how it stands on this subject.
If you have a terminal illness and doctors prescribe you medical weed. but only then is it legal in the US

No, it's not. There has been much controversy over selling seeds over the internet, because it's legal in Canada, but if you are a US citizen and order seeds from Canada, you can get in trouble because those sites aren't supposed to be international. Even if its somewhere other than Canada, you can still get in a lot of legal trouble. I would suggest just buying a gram, picking seeds out of it, and grow those. That's what I do.
in the US not legaly its not legal for anyone but if you want to go for it
