it depends if your a beginner i would go with the squier because the stratocaster is more advanced
i think they are just about the same. i have a fender stratocaster so i say fender
Fender for Hendrix Epihone for Zeppelin and ACDC Ibanez is more on the metal side of things. It really depends on what music you are looking at basically Fender for more blues and Ibanez is more of the Metal types.
EITHER IS GOOD FOR METAL BUT YOU MAY HAVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS ON THE FENDER
If you compare between Dr-100 and Ibanez SGT120vs , Ibanez SGT120vs is the better epiphone.
Fender are a very classic company. Their models dont change very frequently. The telecaster is a versitle guitar with usually two single coil pickups that give out a country twang or a big alternative crunch. I can find that i can get a very heavy sounding, not metal like, but full. These are not as comfortable as the next guitar, the Stratocaster. They have three single coils and a 3-5 way switch. With this comfortable guitar, you can get many tones for many many genres of music. I would say if you go for alternative and also like to play some other genres sometimes, the fender strat would be for you. As for ibanez, they are also versitle but are better suited to stay in the rock/metal category. The height on the strings are very low making it easy to play fast and play powerchords but they dont handly regular chords too well. I find that on some the lower frets buzz a bit when playing a chord. But the pickups are humbuckers and are more beefy then that of the fender. Ibanez are also cheaper than the fenders. You can get a very nice and nice playing fender which is bottom of the line for the same price as a almost top of the line ibanez. All in all, it all depends on your price range your in. Cheaper- buy the ibanez, A little more money- go for the fender.
Its purely a matter of choice, the humbucker pick up will give the Stratocaster a different sound.
Yes they are a good guitar... but depends what style you want to play. Absolutely especially in comparison to Squire Strats. The Standard Stratocaster has better sound and better playability than Squires. They also have a better resale value. Again, it is dependent upon which style of music you want to play. Fender Stratocasters are very versatile you can play many styles of music with a Strat. Everything from country to blues to rock. However, they are not suitable for jazz as they lack the airness and midrange of an artchtop.
of course fender telecaster From a player's standpoint, both are great. The Squire Affinity series - with an ash body - will be 'as good as' an American Tele once you change out the pickups to Seymore Duncan or Fender professional grade units. However, an American Fender Tele will always have much, much better resale & investment value. Even the lowest priced Squire Tele's (priced at about $215) are terrific once you swap out the pickups, tuners and have the frets dressed. All modern factory guitars are cut with computer-guided lathes. The fit and finish on even the lowest priced ones are much better than anything made in the 1970's. Leo Fender designed all his instruments to be low-priced, rugged and easy to repair. The 'classic' pre-CBS Fenders that now sell for up to tens of thousands of bucks now were all built by minimum-wage workers in Anaheim, CA.
It all depends on YOU. Fender and Gibson are two completely different types of guitars for sound. If you are more into blues, jazz music then go for Fender stratocaster or telecaster and if you like rock, metal types defenently go for a Gibson sg or les paul. you will get people giving there opinion but its all down to you if your looking to buy either one go and test them down your local guitar shop. i have a fender jaguar because i like blues more then rock but Gibson are defenently one off the best for rock.
It depends on the type and style of music you want to make.Gibson makes very nice guitars. I would suggest them (les paul most likely)For thick and full sounds, I've always found ibanez the best. Ibanez guitars aren't the very best, but amazing for full sound.Ibanez makes the best line of top of the notch guitars when it comes to comfort and sound.I would have to agree I have an Ibanez Rg It fits my hand the best. It sounds really aggressive and it can be a very good beginners guitar and it can be a very good expert level guitar. Other good brands are Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Schecter, and Jackson. If you are beginning I would suggest not to get a Fender and get an IbanezThis is a completely subjective question. Personally I don't think anyone has ever made a better electric guitar than the Fender Stratocaster. But, in my opinion Fender acoustics are best used for firewood. For acoustics, I prefer Martin or Taylor.Again, you will find many differing opinions out there. This is just mine.
i suggest an acoustic because the strings are higher off the neck making it harder to press down. as time goes on and you get used to pressing hard whilst playing faster. when you've mastered playing on an acoustic playing an electric will be easy and youll be able to play faster than on an acoustic.
