Alcohol is a health risk to yourself, but can also lead to changes in attitude as well as impaired driving, which can be more physical dangers to those around you as opposed to actual health risks. They are similar as in they are both addictice (Although smoking more so), can be enjoyed in moderation and if you are addicted it will be hard to quit, but the health benefits are there.
