It says on the box, "used for decorative purposes only, not with food, beverages or smoking materials." .. You could decoratea smokable pipe. Leaving it in the oven for a few extra minutes usually burns it, so putting a lighter up to one would create some extra smoke that would probably kill you. You might have to use actual clay that goes in a kiln
