Not particularly. Davis is closely related to the "ring of fire" companies (such as Lorcin, Bryco, Jennings, etc.), and their firearms designs typically follow the same blueprint of being... cheap.
Davis went out of business in 1998, on account of frivolous lawsuits, and their designs have been taken over by a company called Cobra Industries.
