In the mid 1980's a National Enquirer story sourcing a former close acquaintance claimed Kristy was a lesbian. The "source" had a personal axe to grind which is clear when you read the article.
I can not find a quote anywhere from Kristy admitting this or "coming out". Please cite a source/date and quote if I'm wrong. As far as I can see this claim was never substantiated.
