Yes they are great do not listen to what people say about it being horrible. If it is a young child getting their ears pierced ask if the manager can do it; they have more experience. If it is someone older I personally don't think you need to make them get the manager to do it as the other people do it just fine. They all have to go through training. So they are are pros.
However, bear in mind that the Claire's training course is extremely basic. So, if you want a standard gauge ear lobe piercing then by all means go to Claire's. If you are looking for something more complex, or a piercing through cartilage (any part of the ear apart from the lobe) then it would be a better idea to seek out a reputable local piercer as Claire's generally pierce using a piercing gun (a machine which pushes a sharpened stud through the ear) which can be perfectly fine for the ear lobe but may cause damage to the ear cartilage.
I am not sure what you mean. If you mean that once you have one piercing, will they do a second ear piercing for you, then yes they will. they're really good too!
You have to be 16 at least anywhere in Canada to sign for your own piercing
It's mostly ear lobe and if you are trying to pierce somewhere else like your cartilage I would suggest a tattoo and piercing shop because Claires uses piercing guns and those can shatter your cartilage and cause nasty infections because of it
It is free when you buy the starter earrings, though I would highly recommend going to Piercing Pagoda, which is also free with earrings.
When using a piercing gun (such as those they use at Claires) the collapse of your ear cartilage is a possibility. Also, with any piercing, there is the chance of infection if not cleaned properly as instructed by your piercer.
That I am aware of, Claire's does not pierce lips. The piercers at claires are only trained specifically in ear piercing, they have not undergone the training of a tattoo/piercing tech.
The piercing is free, you just pay the cost of the earrings you want. They range from about 20 to 40 bucks. You also get the bottle of solution to clean it with.
Yes, they are very good at ear piercing. I highly recommend them. I just had my ears pierced there in February 2010 and they did a great job! They were super friendly and it was literally pain-free. They tell you what they are going to do, how they're going to do it, and when. They are super nice and very professional! However, Claire's pierce ears with a piercing gun (a machine which pushes a sharpened stud through the ear) which can be perfectly fine for ear lobes but is not designed for use on ear cartilage. So if you're looking for something more complex than an ear lobe piercing at standard gauge, then please find a reputable local piercer.
the cartalages usually are around 20-30 bucks. i have 5 in my cartalages, and i get mine done at claires so it run in between 20 and 30 dollars.

Technically they say that the piercing is free and you have to pay for the jewelery. But since they use guns, they have to use the jewelry to pierce your ears. So, ultimately, you do have to pay. If I were you, I wouldn't go to claires. They aren't professionals and guns are HORRIBLE. I could rant on this forever but just do some google searches and I"m sure that you won't use a gun.
