Christmas, in a way, is a festival. It is a holiday to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ (for those who are religious) and a special day where children expect the legendary Santa Clause (how cute!). For those who are not religious, though the adorable Santa Clause is still a part of this festivity, Christmas is a time to set aside all stresses and worries and enjoy time with those you love; to spend time with family, friends, loved ones and to exchange good tidings or gifts.

Some believe that Christmas is a miraculous time of year, the only time of year when everyone is equal and love is the strongest. The spirit if Christmas is indeed a joyous thing, deserving of the title "festival", but more so is it a holiday for love, sharing, and caring.
