Acctually the answer is no. I've done reaserch on Ben and Jerry's ice cream and Jerry is married and ben is single. They grew up together in Brooklyn New York. Jerry studied medicine in his undergraduate years then he was regected at the over graduate schools he applied for. Ben acctually wanted to be a singer but I don't have much detail on that all I know is that the was regected too. They both were broke so they dicided to relie on their money together. They wanted to go into the food buissness. They considered bagels but scince they were broke that was not an option becaus eof all the expencive pakaging and equipment. The most reasonable choice was ice cream. It was cheap to start and paid well. They did not expect to be a multi million dollar company they just wanted to find somthing temporary untill they could do somthing bigger. However they did not expect the buisness they have today.
