In general, 9 stone is a healthy weight for most people. However, determing whether you're overweight or not depends on a lot of factors (height, age, activity level, muscle mass, frame size, etc.). Yes! I'm 5.9 and I need to get down to 10 stone to be at the ideal weight for optimal health, so the same must be true for a teenager. With hormones, body changes occur and if not kept in check there could be weight management problems later on in life!
