Not necessarily. There are a number of rounds marketed as .32 Caliber or 7.65. .32 Automatic Colt Pistol, .32 Auto, 7.65x17SR, 7.65 Browning, and 7.65 Browning SR refer to the same cartridge. They are not compatible with other .32/7.65mm cartridges such as the .32 Long Colt, .32 NAA, and others.
.32 caliber. In a semi auto handgun, probably .32 ACP
Pretty much the same as any other revolver or semi-auto.
Yes, 7.65mm is essentially equivalent to the .32 ACP (Automatic Colt Pistol) cartridge, which is also referred to as .32 Auto. The 7.65mm designation is commonly used in Europe, while .32 ACP is the term used in the United States. Both refer to the same caliber, measuring approximately 7.65mm in diameter.
The Walther PP was made in 5 different calibers- ONE of which was .32 Auto. If the gun is question is a .32, it can shoot .32 auto. If another caliber- no.

yes
Depends entirely on which .32 caliber gun. A small .32 Auto might have an effective range of 25 yards, a long barreled 32-20 revolver 80 yards, and a .32 Winchester rifle 200 yards.
.32 caliber is not enough infromation. Ammunition marked "7.65 Browning", ".32 auto" and ".32 ACP" for practical purposes, are all the same. Do NOT try to use ammo such as ".32 magnum" or ".32 long" as it would be a different round.

Your best bet is to find a gunsmith and ask for help.
