Do 12 year olds have fun with a date? - Yes
Do some, or many have good sense, and are responsible? - Yes.
Do they, can they feel love and emotion? - YES!
This is where it can get difficult.
What a 12 year old does not have, no matter how mature or smart they seem, 12 years is still 12 years, and what they do not have is experience, and the frame of reference to recognize and/or identify who may be playing them emotionally and /or sexually. The problem is doing things like sex, can get someone in a lot of trouble. Aids is on the increase, having a baby at that age can shut a large part of your life down, other std's, and one of the worst things, is becoming used to sex, without love. When that happens it can, not all the time, but it can desensitize you to a good thing when it does come around.
See, it is not about having a good time, or just feeling good. The young years are for learning how to handle emotions which even while they do feel good, ESPECIALLY while they feel good, have to be handled and controlled. If not, they can run away with you, and that is a real problem. Just look at all the babies being born, not planned, and all the Std's and aids kids are catching at a younger and younger age.
