I have a Henry Richards hammerd double barrel shotgun. I had Cabela's in Michigan research it for me (they have a very extensive research library) and I was told that Henry Richards made guns in London England for one year 1856. Mine is a hand me down from my dad who received it from his dad who traded a mule for it.
Inexpensive "working" gun.
They don't. They are shot by PEOPLE that are using guns.
Sorry- not enough info to answer. The 7 shot revolvers were early guns- I have one made about 1900.
Sears didn't make guns - they sold guns marked "Sears" which were made for them by many different manufacturers. Most bolt action shotguns were made by Mossburg.

Joseph Smith, his brother, Hyrum Smith, John Taylor, and Dr. William Richards were all in the Carthage jail, when a mob of men came running towards the jail with guns in their hands. These 4 men tried to hold off the mob by holding the door shut, but the mob came through. Hyrum Smith was shot and killed immediately and Joseph Smith was shot twice in the back and twice in the chest. He died as well. John Taylor lived even though he was shot four times. Dr. William Richards also lived but was not shot.
