In the outsiders What happens at the drive-in?

the greasers and the socs end up getting into a fight because the socs think the greaser boys ( Ponyboy , Dally and Johnny ] try to get with Cherry and Marcia ( the socs girls ] .

Johnny, Ponyboy, and Dally sneak into a drive-in movie theater, once there they sit behind two soc girls and dally annoys the heck out of them. once Cherry tells him to leave, she and Marcia invite PonyBoy and Johnny to sit with them. during the movie, the four talk about each other and what it like being a greaser or a soc. two bit Matthews comes in and also watches the movie with them.
