set up a timer that will go off at minute intervals ... each minute as you are running, count how many times your feet hit the ground within that minute. Most people have an average of about 80-90 strides per minute. Olympic winners have about one eighty strides per minute. write down how many strides you took within your first minute (and do this for how ever many minutes you wish, writing down the results of each) and then you average those numbers out.. add them all together and divide them by how many minutes you ran.
