it depends on you and your bf or husband but it is likely u will have twins
Mum or Dad could be carrying the twin gene it doesnt matter about sexes. Normally being able to have twins is when it skips a generation therefore if your grandparents were a twin or had brothers or sisters that were twins it generally means you have move of a chance to have twins other than your parents do although they can do. Also you have a higher risk of twins when doing IVF or having a baby when you are older.
Yes. its a 50/50 chance,it depends on the genes she had. if u have a twin gene and she had one,u would have 50 or 75 percent chance
Yes, they are twins!
Yes, it is very common for one twin to hide behind the other and be missed on the scan. That's what happened to my best friend's mum, she went for a scan suspecting she was having twins, and they told her it was one baby, when she went for her 12 week, it turned out she was actually pregnant with triplets, they hid behind each other. Keep your fingers crossed & good luck xx

Yes. Fraternal twins are due to two eggs being released. No - If they are on either side of the family, the incidence of twin pregnancy is increased, whether they run on the mum's side or the dad's side. And in addition to the above answer, fraternal (non-identical) twins are due to two different eggs being fertilised by two different sperm.
non-identical twins sometimes run in families down your mother's side. So if you mum or her mum had non-identical twins there's a slightly higher chance you might (if you're female - it makes no difference for men!)
