What you think has no bearing on the use. If you ARE pregnant, then no, they will not work. If you are not pregnant they are fairly effective. My two brothers are examples of how effective they can sometimes be.
Yes, in some sense. That's the idea with birth control pills: they simulate some symptoms of pregnancy to fool your body so it does not think it can get pregnant again.
If you're pregnant there is always still a possibility that you can have your period.Regardless,You should not be on birth control while pregnant unless instructed to do so by your doctor. Taking Birth control pills while pregnant can lead to birth defects or death. If you think you're pregnant, consult your Doctor about pregnancy and your birth control.
To my knowledge the last week of birth control pills are placebos. That means they are simply sugar pills that help keep you in a routine. I think the lack of regular birth control pills during that last week cause you to start your period because you stop the hormones associated with those pills. Of course, I haven't taken them for over 10 years and the new types may be different.
Birth control stops the womans body from having a baby, and let's them enjoy the pleasures of intercourse without the consequences. So think about that. OF COURE IT WOULD!
The signs of pregnancy are a positive pregnancy test and lack of bleeding. If you think you might be pregnant, take a pregnancy test. If you missed three pills use a back up method until you've taken seven pills correctly. Consider the morning after pill if you had sex in the last five days.
no And make sure you are pregnant so you can make the right moves imediately
I think the moment you think your pregnant you should talk to your doctor. Only your family doctor knows what's best for you and knows the facts you need to know about being pregnant. If you think your pregnant you should take a home pregnancy test, if it comes up positive than you should stop taking your birth control pills and make an appointment with your family doctor. He/She will discuss your options.
you can be pregnant and still have all your normal monthly periods. i think im right in saying that you can get pregnant from missing only one of your daily pills... so yeah you could get pregnant from missing four pills. jenny x
Not if you are pregnant. And I think you mean the pill, not pearl. Birth control pills stop you from ovulating and does not bring your period back, it makes it stay way.
i think youn should go to a doctor
I don't think there are any contraceptive pills for males. A pill intended for females would have no effect for a male. No method is 100% safe, but a condom is fairly good. -------------------------------------------------------------------- O_o dude are you saying that you are a man that can get pregnant?
No, the placebo pills are exactly that, placebo. (just sugar pills). It would be like expecting a tic tac to bring on your menstrual cycle. If you are on the pill, the placebo pills will start your cycle because they have no active ingredients. If you think you are pregnant and want your period to come, go to a doctor/do a pregnancy test or take the morning after pill if it's not too late.
