Starving yourself is a very dangerous and will not only make you sick, but may also increase your chances of becoming overweight. Not eating puts your body into starvation mode, and it compensates for this by slowing down your metabolism and storing fat cells. This is because the human body was created to protect against starvation in case of famine. Now in days, most people are not likely to starve especially in America because of the large quantity of food that is available, but back in the olden days when food storage was low, their bodies would burn fat instead of carbohydrates in times where food supply was low. This process stores fat in an attempt to protect your body and compensate for the loss of energy. Health is not determined by how skinny you are, but instead how fit and healthy you are. Regular exercise and a well balanced diet with more fruits and vegetables can help you to attain a proper weight and good healthy both physically and mentally. I have struggled with an eating disorder for two years before I finally got a hold of it and came to the realization that I wanted to be the healthiest person, not the skinniest. I practice a healthy lifestyle but I no longer starve myself.

I recommend you don't starve yourself! It make's you put on weight, im unhappy with my weight too ATM and im actually looking up how to make yourself throw up, im changing my mind wen i see the stories of aanorexic and bulimeia's, i recommend u see it too, i no its horrible wen u don't like ur weight, and i hope u make the right desicion, im losing alot of weightt too by not snacking and excersing, dance and jogging is good. You can starve yourself, eat healthy and work out, or take pills, have a tummy tuck but that's cheating.
