Ask your parents to email your teacher.

I basically lost my report card today, not the report with the grades, but the card. You can ask for a new one, and they keep your grades in the computer, so they should be able to. ASK BEFORE REPORT CARD IS DUE.

If you aren't comfortable with that, ask a friend for help, and the most comforting way to fix that is to have your friend by your side while your explain what happened to the teacher.

If you get detention, don't be upset. EVERYONE gets detention for way worse things, so act like it isn't that bad and let it out to a friend. Either way, it's your choice, help from family or friends!
