I would suggest waiting until you've menstrated before trying these new pills. Although many doctors debate whether the menstrual cycle is necessary with Birth Control since the bleeding you're experiencing is actually withdrawal bleeding, it is a process that will clear the uterine lining. If you were to start the new pills right away you may be prone to experience more of the uncomfortable side effects such as spotting. I would suggest waiting until seven days have passed and then starting the new brand.
It should be the same amount of time as when NOT on birth control.
Are you sure you have not changed your diet or started exercising a lot? If not, you should see a doctor about this. When the menstruation stays away for months it is a sign something is wrong. Speak to your mom.
there shouldn't be continuous bleeding after menstruation if you find that your period hasent stopped after the seventh day you are probubly just having a long period they can be as long as 9 days or a short as 3. if you are taking birth control that can also make you have continuous bleeding for a long time .. EITHER WAY YOU SHOULD DEFINATELY GO SEE A DOCTOR... if the bleeding does not stop. ~good Luck~
The menstruation should return within 8 weeks from the abortion.
No, it is biologically impossible to get pregnant during your period as there is no egg present. BUT it is possible to get pregnant as a result of sex during menstruation, also not all vaginal bleeding is menstruation. Unless you want to get pregnant you should always use birth control.
yes especially if you are on medication or birth control
I have been on birth control for 7yrs, and i stopped taking it the end of September. But when i stopped taking it i didn't finish the pack. I am trying to get pregnant. I am concerned that i cant get pregnant and that i should have finished the pack first. I am concerned that i might not be able to get pregnant because i took birth control for 7yrs.
i am not sure, but you should consider asking your local doctor.
If you've stopped taking BC pills then yes. If you haven't stopped BC pills then this isn't normal and you should see your DR as you may need your doseage changed.
you should talk to your health care practitioner.
I only weigh 100 pounds and i am 19 years old and I'm worried that my weight might be making it difficult for my body to get through my menstruation.
You cannot conceive during menstruation as there is no egg present. You can however have fertile cervical mucus present and thus sperm may live for up to seven days, by which time you may ovulate. Unless you want to get pregnant you should always use birth control.
