Some of the calories will remain in the body. It depends a lot on how digested the food was, and how much was vomited back up.
A binge is in an "anorexic" tendency if the person later fasts, severly restricts, or excessively exercises for the next few days to "make up for" the calories eaten during that binge. A binge is in a "bulimic" tendency is the person later purges by vomiting or laxative abuse to rid their body of much of the food from the binge.
calories are energy. food contains calories, so when you eat food, the calories within the food power your body.
yes. vomit is no longer in the body. stomach acid is a dilution of HCl (Hydro-Chloric Acid) this is what breaks down food. if the food is outside of the body (i.e. vomit) it can spread pathogens, such as salmanilla, Typhoid, and Hepatitus to name a few. the short answer is yes. treat vomit as a dangerous body fluid.
Calories are not a nutrient, they measure the amount of energy the food has. That said, they are in a way essential because no calories means no energy that food gives your body. Your body needs food for life sustainance
People with binge disorders will eat thousands of calories at once, but will not purge the food. If someone did the exact same thing but vomited it up, then that person would be considered bulimic.
food calories
Food binges can cause weight gain, mood swings, chemical imbalances within the body, and an unhealhy relationship with food.
Food contains calories. Calories are a type of food particle that a body consumes. Calories are also commonly known as energy used for the body. Since a saltine cracker is a kind of food with wheat; wheat contains calories which you consume. These calories are energy, so in other words, you are consuming energy.
If there is a food that causes you to binge, it is better to avoid it. Junk food especially.
you vomit beacause you stomach hates food and wants you to vomit
If you are talking about binging and purging, no. When you binge depending how long, most of the calories absorb before you vomit. Regular puking wouldn't cause you to loose a lot of weight. A stomach flu or food poision would do a little but when you start eating normally again it, your weight will be that or a little more before it happened. Well, the constant bingeing and purging for one... it is said that a third of the calories consumed during a binge are not purged... so if you binge and have about 900 calories, and you purge, you still wont have gotten rid of all the calories. you will still have 300 in you. that's clearly very little, but if you have a massive binge, then you hold in more calories. also, the digestive process begins the minute you put food in your mouth, and if your binges last a long time, then by the time you're done eating, a lot of the stuff you have eaten will have probably been broken down already... it sucks, but that's what happens!
