If you are a very shy girl who likes a guy in your class but are scared to let him know because he may not like you how can you show him you like him without being too obvious?

what you should sayI'm sure you are worried about how he will react if he knows you like him. Now I don't know if you are friends with him or if you both don't even talk at all. I am and have always been a shy woman and from experience I have told guys that I liked them and been rejected and I have also sat by and not told someone I liked them and regretted it for a long time. So I say be up front and tell him you were thinking about going to a movie or to the mall and ask him if he wants to come with you. If he says yes then he is interested in your company. You don't have to rush into a relationship but to see if he is into you I think you should hang out first. And even if you hang out if your too nervous to hang out solo then invite a friend to come with you and see if he wants to invite a guy friend to go with him. But that gets tricky too because if he is shy and he likes you too he might be trying to impress his friend and he might just act like your friend but really like you for more than a friend. Coming from a shy guy myself, I like it when a girl notices me. Even if i have a girlfriend atm, just being invited to hang out is awesome. Maybe try and get a friend who knows him a little to talk to him.. maybe let him know you wanted to invite him to the movies (just act like you didn't know he/she was going to tell him). But for me, no matter how it's done, I like being let know.. it makes me feel good. Just let him know =) good luck!

I have the same problem. I like a guy who's been in at least one of my classes since the tenth grade, but in the course of three years, we've probably only ever exchanged less than five sentences. I am a very shy girl, particularly around men. So I want to show him subtly (key word here!) that I like him. I usually give him little smiles every now and then, and because he sits directly across the room from me, I meet his eyes, but not too often. If you have mutual friends that you trust, ask them to drop little hints, but not be upfront about it, and maybe something will happen.
