If your relationship is shaky, then having a child will probably not make it stronger. You should work on your relationship first, to see if you both want it to continue, and then work on things to strengthen it.
Having a child is a serious business and will take up the next eighteen years of your life. So you need a good partner who's with you all the way in this.
