I have a Pierre Cardin gold pen and pencil set with Pierre Cardin engraved in the center of each.Does anyone know how to date them or if they are worth anything?

you have to break open one of the writing utensils to find their date, which diminishes the value of the set. however, the set is worth nothing unless you know the date it was made
