Take your first pill the Sunday after you get your period, even if you are still bleeding on that Sunday. You don't necessarily have be a Sunday starter, I just find it easier.

What if you are taking loestrin fe and have not started your period yet?

If you are taking Loesterin FE and you've not had your period yet, you may consider going to the doctor depending on how long it has been. They may recommend a short break from the birth control.

You have been on birth control for 5 months is it safe to purposely skip a period and instead of taking the green pills just going straight to a new pack?

When going off birth control should someone be worried that her period is now 5 days late?

Definitely. Hormonal birth control, as one of its pleasant side effects, decreases the amount of cramping and the amount and duration of menstrual flow.

Can you take birth control pills after eighteen days of your last period?

yes you can. birth control in any for is going to redirect your cycle to 28 days no matter what. but if you want you period to come 3 weeks from your regular period( when you are on birth control you will not have a period, it is called withdrawal bleeding. because you don't ovulate while on birth control. withdrawal from the hormone causes the bleeding.) so actually you can choose when you"period" comes. hope this helps!!!

I started birth control because i hadn't had my period over two months but i didnt wait to get my period When will birth control start protecting me?

Did you take a pregnancy test? If in the unlikely scenario that you AREN'T pregnant, it will take a few months for the pills to re-schedule your hormones. That is why you are supposed to begin taking it immediately after a period. Because it works on your body's schedule. It may be somewhat effective after a few weeks, but not fully for a few months. Birth does not work as an abortion method, so if that's what you were going for, you are still pregnant.

Is there any way you can make your period come sooner or make it last for a shorter amount of time?

Hello The only way to make your period arrive earlier than usual for you is by taking birth control pills and by missing some pills or you can miss a period completely by continuing to take birth control pills instead of going onto the sugar pills. But you can only do this when you've been on birth control pills for about two months because the first month will be all over the place. Birth control pills do make your period lighter, less painful and can make your period shorter.

Can your breasts get smaller after stopping on the pill?

It is not that they are getting smaller, it is that the breasts are going back to their normal size. Birth control can sometimes make the breasts swell, just like right before your period. They will not be any smaller then before birth control.

Will you still start a period after going off hormonal birth control if you're already pregnant?
