To fix iPod restore error, there are usually 2 ways to get rid of it.

  1. Use iTunes to restore the device. It is better to back up the data before.

2.Use professional third-party tools such as TunesKit iOS System Recovery to fix it without data loss.

To restore your iPod with the error code 1439 try holding down the select and menu buttons at the same time for about six seconds. This action should reset your iPod. You also may need to install a new version of iTunes on your PC or Mac.

Open "My Computer" go to the drive that is your ipod. Then simply defragment the drive. You will lose everything that was on the ipod (music, tv shows, etc) but at least it works now.
