The average age of menarche (first period) is 13 years old, but anything between 8-18 years old is still considered normal - typically menarche starts within four years of startig puberty so if you have symptoms such as breast growth, discharge, bodily hair, pubic hair, etc. then you are right on track and your first periods will start faily soon.

Just make sure you know what to expect, carry pads with you just in case your period starts when away from home, and talk to your mom or guardian about periods.
