If your boyfriend was a true gentlemen you would think he would buy you a present for you on your birthday anyway. I think you may want to talk to him and ask him why he didn't. Or maybe you should think about it and say, maybe I don't need a present from him on my birthday, maybe having his love or just being with him is enough ( :
