The model 400 was made between 1957 and 64. Crosman no longer has parts for them. However on their web page they have a repair locater that will give you a list of locations that still repair old air rifles and guns. Go to the crosman home page and click on "find a service center." See the link below. BTW: the model 400 is a pellet rifle not a pellet gun.
Sheridan started in 1945. Later it was purchased by Benjamin air gun company and Later Benjamin was purchased by Crosman air gun company. It is still in production.
I can find no record of Crosman ever making a model 3101 but they did make a model 3100 from 1987-90 See the link below for the full list of old Crosman models
It would help if you stated the model of the pellet gun you need parts for. I can tell you this much. Both Daisy and Crosman made pellet guns for Sears under the JC Higgins brand name. If you want to try to locate a repair shop that restores old pellet guns I suggest to look on the web under "Air Gun Repair." and locate someone who repairs older pellet guns. Or you can re-post your question with the model number it will start with one of two sets of numbers like 799 or 126. This will identify it as either a Daisy or a Crosman air gun. Crosman offers a locater service to repair older guns. (If yours is a Crosman.) It's up to you how you want to find parts.
Check the interenet, yellow pages, gun shops, gun shows, want ads. ------------------------------------------------------------ Sheridan is owned by Crosman corp. the proper size
It was made between 1976 and 1983.
I'm going to try to answer this in two parts. 1. Montgomery Wards Pellet rifles and guns were made by Crosman corp under the Hawthorne name. 2. This is pure speculation and a best guess. I believe the m140 is the "Crosman model 140" it is a pump, single shot, 22 cal pellet rifle. It had a wooden stock with the forearm as the pump handle. there were 3 variations made, starting in 1954 ending in 1968.
I've gone through all of my resourced and could not find a model 6231N Crosman. If this is the model number it doesn't conform to Crosman normal numbering system. I've looked through all the models that Crosman has made and could not find anything. I believe you have a Crosman but I need more information to identify it. The Crosman home page has a link to all of their Air Gun & Rifle Manuals. If you want you can search there. See the link Below and then click on "Download a manual." when it opens.
I know for certain that this air rifle was made by Crosman air gun co. And I think it is a Crosman model 180 made for Sears. If I am right It's a single shot .22 caliber C02 rifle with a wood stock and long barrel. Crosman offers a free service to locate shops that repair Old Crosman products. See the link below.
