16 with parents permission, 18 without. Preferably wait until you are 18 though.
I'm pretty sure that you have to be 18 in most states to get a tattoo without your parents consent...
18 years of age.
it is 16 with parents permission, and 18 without permission. Be careful for which tattoos you choose, you're stuck with them forever.
18, dumbas.. That is common sence So is knowing how to spell "dumb@ss" and "sense."
18 or 15 with parents consent
That is not the problem my friend,[i think it is 14 or 16] but most tattoo parlors will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 in most cases.
Your parents must be with you and you and your parents must both have ID and then any Virginia parlor will do it.
Well my ex bf got a tattoo when he was 17 with parental consent.
Not in the U.S. , you must be 18 to get a tattoo but the good news is that by then, you won't need your parents. (For piercings you have to be 16 with parents/guardian and 18 without them) I'm unsure of this previous answer so just check out the states near you on this website: http://www.ncsl.org/programs/health/minorbodyart.htm
In Oklahoma, you must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo without parental consent.
I know most tattoo parlors there will tattoo a 17 year old with parents PRESENT. Some will do 16 year olds with parents PRESENT. but written consent doesn't mean much when it can be forged.
