The price of child slaves varied widely depending on factors such as the time period, location, and specific circumstances of the sale. In some cases, children were sold for as little as a few dollars, while in other instances, particularly in the antebellum United States, they could fetch hundreds or even thousands of dollars. It's important to note that the dehumanizing practice of selling children into slavery has caused immeasurable harm and suffering throughout history.
