It is not a good idea to stop eating! trust me! Not eating anything such as an anorexic would do, you could lose about 4 pounds in a week. This is with the statistics that you should consume 2000 calories a day, 14000 calories in a week. If you do not eat these 14000 calories, it adds up to 4 lbs (1 pound=3500 calories). However, you may lose less or more depending on if you binge and purge, or if you do light or heavy exercise. But it's not a good idea at all! When you starve yourself you lose weight in MUSCLE and with that your metabolism drops. With a very low metabolism, your body is less efficient at converting food into energy and that's why people who starve themselves gain the weight back when they eat again. Not to be rude, but I believe it's pretty foolish for people to want to put their health at risk just to lose weight in muscle and still remain technically fat. ( Yes, you are still fat when you starve yourself. ) Why not do it the old fashioned way and just eat more nutritious foods and exercise? You will lose the weight, feel good about yourself, and improve your health. In starvation you cause yourself and your body alot of pain and suffering, and will only end up gaining back the weight and feeling more miserable and frustrated than before. Let me motivate you alittle bit. If you were to do enough exercise and eat healthy, you can lose a pound every 4 days, and that's every 4 days that goes by where you will see yourself slimmer and feel more better about yourself.
