Cannot be answered with only these measurements. You need to specify what shape the pool is. Also, for a rectangular pool, the length, width and depth are needed. For a round pool, the diameter and depth are needed.

This question requires another dimension before it can be answered. 12 feet long or wide x WHAT long or wide x 30 inches (2 1/2 feet) deep Remember the formula for volume is Length X Width X Height (l x w x h = V)

If it's 8 feet across, it's 940.03199 gallons. It's 217147.39 cubic inches (48" x 48" x Π x 30" = 217147.39 cu. in.). There are 231 cubic inches in a gallon. 217147.39 cu. in. ÷ 231 = 940.03199 gallons.

You also need the depth. 8 x 30 inches only tells me the area. the amount of water is volume.

You need to know the depth to calculate volume. If the pool is 3 ft deep and 30 feet diameter you have 15,900 gal
