at the graduation
The answer depends on family and community customs. Where I grew up, nobody celebrated eighth graduation nor thought about giving presents for it. Eighth grade was no different from 6th or 7th. However, if you get an 8th-grade diploma and there is a graduation ceremony to which you are invited, a gift may be appropriate. I see no especial reason why it should be money. Money is generally rather a thoughtless gift, but takes no time to pick out. If you are in the habit of giving gifts to this person and he always writes a thank-you note and expresses appreciation, give him your usual amount, assuming you have it to give.
Many people give money as a graduation gift. For triplets, that could get costly. It would be a great idea to get the triplets something that speaks to their individuality, or perhaps to their individual school or career choices that will follow graduation.
Sure. Personally, I give a US Savings Bond to be given to the child at graduation or 18th birthday . It is a tidy sum by then.
Mastercard is a great gift to give as a graduation present. Yes it is a good idea to give your sister a master card because this way she can purchase what she wants of her own choice.

* It depends why they didn't invite you. If it was a small graduation party and a very few people there or you live out of town then yes, send a gift, but if they simply left you out on purpose then don't give a gift.
An Olive Garden gift card is a possible graduation gift. You also could give her OPI nail polish.
A homemade card would be the best present you could give him.
Yes, it is appropriate to give a gift at a graduation party. The gift could be something that reflects what the graduate plans to do in the future. A college-bound high school graduate might receive some item needed for college. A college grad could get a gift that would help for his/her career/job or setting up a home. The same idea works for a high school graduate not intending to go to college. Another idea would be a picture frame or photo album for graduation day photos. It is not necessary to spend a lot of money.
You should give an IPod/laptop to them and get a huge cardboard box with chocolates in it for them.
No, it is not possible to get money from your gift cards from a bank. However, some pawn shops do give cash for gift cards.
