All piercing shrink down once the piercing is fully healed and the jewellery is removed, yes the hole is pretty much permanent.
Most places charge around $80. $40 for each piercing/hole. Call the shop bc of course it could be different especially if you get an apprentice to do it.
Sure why not, it's up to the person what they want and how much they want to do.
I've got a great solution to your quandary: CALL THEM and ASK.
Mine was £20 for both ears, also they sometimes have free ear piercing at malls.:]
At places like WalMart you can get it free but you have to pay for the stud. (They have to put the stud in so your piercing it will not close up.
It depends. At a piercing place-I don't rightfully know. But if you want them ripped with a "piercing" gun-It is the price of the ear ring. I advise against this one though because it isn't truly a piercing-it damages the ear by ripping a hole with a blunt object.

Yeah, a hole is a hole. For most piercings, jewelry is pretty much interchangeable. As long as the piercing is healthy and healed, you should have no problem wearing a stud earring.
It doesn't hurt when you get it pierced but it does after. It feels sore when you touch around the area where you got it pierced. It should go away in about a month, but just make sure you don't sleep on the side your piercing is on. That can make it hurt more. Make sure you clean it 2 times a day for about 6-8 weeks and make sure you twist the ear ring when you clean it.
It depends on what earrings you want. You could spend between $20 and $70
