I have one thats in superior condition that has the solid rib and was told at a gun show that it was worth around $1100 and up. Mine is a Sportsman "Sweet 16" and I still shoot it occasionally. I like it better than any shotgun I've ever had and the only complaint I have is it is a lot heavier than those made today...but thats because this gun was made to still be shooting 53 years later.
