Depends on where you live but I'd say from $30-$50. Get it on whichever side you want. for healing, its better to get it on the side that you don't sleep on. Get one at a professional piercing shop. Ask around to get the names and then do research to pick the best shop. Don't get it gunned. It could shatter your cartilage and cause infection etc.

I have long hair and a scaffold piercing..for the first week or so just make sure to clean it regularly. Also if you are worried about getting it tangled up, for the first week or until it is healed, wear your hair up or to the other side. Just to keep you comfortable.. and try not to lay on that side when you sleep! So yes, I would say go for it. :)

Which ever side you want really. Bangs don't really affect the way it looks. Won't be cluttered or anything. If you plan on getting lip piercing/eyebrow piercing, get it on the opposite side of that.
