First of all, you cannot get any piercings done without parental consent if you are under the age of 18. Secondly, it would not be wise to get this done in a non-professional setting as the risk of infection would be extremely high. And last of all, yes... your parents will be able to see the hole.

Its really gonna irritate the piercing and delay healing. Not to mention an increase in the risk of infection. What if you wore a glass bar instead? or even but a bandage over it.

If you're going to be a cheap about your piercing, you're gonna get a hack and a bad piercing ...sorry to be harsh but its true. Save yourself in the long run this is your tongue.

infection! never use peroxide or alcohol to clean your piercing...it will cause the pierced skin to become dry, irritated & may cause a serious infection. I recomend that you get a pro to do your piercing. Basically as long as you take very good care of it you should be fine. Just pay very close attention when you piercer is instructing you on how to care for it. But remember, this is'nt your ear your getting pierced it's your navel so you're gonna have to take really good care of it.
