The 223 is considered a Short Action rifle.
No such model. Winchester did not make a 'Model 1901 single shot .22 pump-action rifle.' They made a Model 1900, Model 1902 and Model 1904, which were all single-shot bolt-action rifles, and they made the Model 1890 and Model 1906 which were slide-action rifles but had tubular magazines. How exactly is your rifle marked? sales@countrygunsmith.net
I do mnot understand your question? Are you asking if you have a winchester model 70,or how old,or if the rifle you have is a model 70.Please include the style of rifle(bolt action, lever action etc.)and the serial number, and model number. If these are posted in your question, then we can get you an answer.
No.
POSSIBLY your rifle is a Noble Model 275.
Sold by Speigel Catalog
Try on line auctions and egunparts.
It depends on the particular model of the rifle, not the caliber it is in. What model and make is it?
If your rifle is a single shot bolt action, I believe that was made by Noble as their Model 10.
Not AFAIK
If your Model 222 Noble is a single shot bolt action rifle, these were made from 1958-1971. Rifles made prior to 1968 may not have a serial number (law did not require until 1968)
The western field model 72 rifle was made by noble for montgomery wards. These were the noble model 50 rifle.
I believe Noble Man. existed from 1950 to 1970
this is a bolt action rifle
Marlin made a model 98 semi-auto .22cal rifle from 1957-1959.They also made a model 980 bolt action .22cal rifle from 1962-1970.They did not make a model 98 bolt action rifle in .22caliber.
That will depend on the make of the rifle and the age of your pump rifle.
