Depends on the condition of the gun. Original stock, forearm and barrel Barrel length and choke size. Most important, was it made in Belgium Average condition $350-$500 Excellent condition, Belgium made, original componets $850-$1,000. If you still have the box add $500 to $800
No value can be placed on a used gun without knowing the condition and what extras like original box, case, or paperwork is present. Your Browning sweet sixteen shotgun which was made in 1969 will have three different values based on the shotgun having between 60%-90% of its original finish remaining, and a good bore.First if you have a plain barrel model the value will be between 425-725 dollars,if you have the solid matte rib barrel, the value will be between 600-950 dollars, and third if you have a vent rib barrel, the value will be between 675-1,050 dollars.
Mint condition? $800-$1200. Add another $200-300 if in the original box
With all original parts and 95% original finish, plain barrel = $625; matte rib = $825; vent rib = $950.
IF an original factory (not aftermarket shortened) gun, 1000-1300 depending on condition. Of course must have paperwork, or need to be paperworked (NFA paperwork) governing short barrel shotguns. If from the Mfg. then it's a $5 tax stamp.
$150 - $400 depending on condition and year made (barrel markings determine the period when the barrel was made)
your browning auto-5 shotgun was made in 1947,and the value is going for between 250 dollars for one with 60% original finish to 500 for one in 95% original finish. If it has a vent rib barrel you can fiqure 395-700 dollars with the above percentage given.
About $300-$400 depending on condition and barrel configuration.

Only if it is NIB (New In the Box), with all of the original paperwork intact and the box in excellent condition.
Value is too difficult to be accurate without seeing the gun. Condition which includes the amount of original finish and original configuration will determine value. Recommend taking it to a gun shop for appraisal.
