The engineers at Glottal Enterprises designed a instrument called the Nasality Visualization System that does everything that a Nasometer does, plus has quite a few other capabilities. I called them up, and I got a ballpark price of $1200. That was for their cheapest model which is for home use, but they have some other more "heavy duty" models available for clinical use.
