Well all piercings involve some discomfort an minor split second pain. It comes down to your mind set, if you really want the piercing pain is not an option and should not deter you from getting what you want. Mind over matter, if you don't mind the pain doesn't matter.

A lip piercing hurts more than a belly button piercing, but neither hurt much at all. Getting your lip feels like you accidentally bit it haha and you can barely feel a belly button piercing.

Yes very much so. I have had my belly button pierced twice and have had 2 epidurals as well and would much rather have the piercing any day. In my opinion it hurts more than 100 x's worse easy.
