The Zastava M80 made in Serbia is available in 7.62 x51 (7.62 NATO) which is similar to, but not the same as the Winchester .308 cartridge. IF the M80 was made after May 1986, it cannot be owned by a private citizen in the US- it is capable of full auto fire, and is classed as a machine gun. Only machine guns already registered with the BATFE by May 1986 may be transferred to a private citizen.
